Artist's Comments

This makes me feel kind of like a jerk. Some moms are like, staying in line at 6am for a Wii at their local EB and I'm at home drawing on mine.

But I digress. I read a story on Kotaku (Props to Frank C.) about a custom No More Heroes Wii console. The original artist's reasoning was a showing of love to Suda51 since the game sold quite poorly in Japan. (Hey Japanese gamers, you're all jerks. Throw your stupid DSes away and play some real games.) I couldn't agree more, so I'm showing my love too.

The character on the console is called "Bad Girl", which for some reason she's showcased on the japanese website, but not on the english one. Weird. Hopefully they didn't pull her out. Or else I'll be sad :c

So yes, here's my show love to Suda51 and No More Heroes, of which the game looks totally rad.

Nice work, I like the system customization. I wish Japan would buy more original games as well (like I mentioned on your forum of No More Heroes, the situation reminds me of Okami all over again). But anyways, I'm showing my support to Suda51's excellence over here in North America, as I'm buying it the day it comes out. I also tend to support smaller and cool developers like Grasshopper, Treasure and SEEDS (formally Clover) as well. In fact, I'm probably going to draw some No More Heroes fanart today.
